South West Business Barometer

South West Tourism has undertaken a South West Tourism Business Barometer Survey (previously known as "How's Business in the South West") for a number of years.  This on-line ‘confidence' survey amongst a regular panel of attraction operators, accommodation providers and other tourism businesses in the region aims to provide a robust measure of quarterly tourism business activity in the region and to monitor business performance over time.  In addition, 'snapshot' data during particularly times of the year i.e. bank holiday weekends and main holiday periods such as Easter is also collected.

Due to declining numbers of both survey responses and panel members over the last year or so South West Tourism are currently in the process of re-designing the on-line business barometer survey.  The main aim is to provide added value for participants with immediate survey results available upon completion of the quarterly questionnaire, as well as keeping the survey as simple and unobtrusive as possible to complete.  It is envisaged that the survey will be re-launched over the next few weeks and furthermore, if you are interested in joining the panel and becoming part of the panel click here to register online, or alternatively contact us.
