What can I do with my visitor data?

Due to Government legalisation you are restricted as to what you are allowed to do with personal information that you may capture of your visitors which relates to rules on how you are allowed to contact them in the future with regards to future special offers.

With regards to using customer data for future communications the key to to ensure you ask the right question at time of capturing their data, whether on your website or when checking the customer in, by simply asking "Are you happy for you business name to contact you in the future regarding special offers".

This must be an opt-in, i.e. the customer must physically have to tick a box to opt into future communications from you.
